Work carries on stripping the V6 Exclusive engine, this will be my "rebuild engine" for fitting after the car goes into the garage for winter.

The Engine loom is generally in good condition throughout its lengths. Some extensions and plug connections had become a little brittle.
The big problem is the hardening (crumbles when touched) of the loom protection sheath. This shows up at the front and in all areas where there is constant heat.

This WILL be addressed in the Activa by using good reflective heat shielding.

On the way to exposure, the spare V6 engine from the Green Goblin.

I have decided, the Green Goblin name will be be carried over in "Remembrance" to a well known Xantia.
I have not yet decided how but will try and make it suitable to all French regions ( LHM or LDS)

Also "On Stock" is this red 2ltr Turbo Activa with nasty terminal floor rust
This sad case will also donate depressingly

Fantastic, sourced a car in Orléans in France on Thursday.  A nice young Frenchman (who could not afford the insurance) decided to sell me his car.....this is the rarest of the rare, a 3.0ltr-V6 24v Activa.

This car corners at .97g with its active roll control, has massive low end torque, revs like a "good'un"
Full Leather, electric seats....comfy !
Who wants turbo lag when god has already made torque for us.

Project Sticktiva
The tail of my journey and relationship with a very clever Citroen
The point of Project Sticktiva is to have fun and at the same time learn  some of the dark arts under the skin of a Citroen

Rouleau corps, ce est quoi?

and of course, spend a lot

of time out cornering some
very expensive cars.

     . XANTIA ACTIVA .
Active Roll Control System (ARCS) in action

Xantia Activa features an Active Roll Control System (ARCS) and was the first production car in the world to eliminate body roll when cornering.
The new ARCS was achieved with a  development of Citroën's proven computer controlled Hydractive suspension system, which automatically adjusts both spring and damper rates to suit changing driving conditions.
Now just add a V6 3ltr with 24 vlaves
